Founded in 1854, the Republican Party has a rich history of advocating for the rights and freedoms of all Americans. The Washington County GOP will be a vital force in local politics, working tirelessly to elect leaders who reflect the republican ideals which ensure we can hand down freedom for the next generation to do the same.

Our mission is to uphold and promote the ideals of the Tennessee Republican party, fostering a community based on individual liberty and individual responsibility. We strive to engage, educate and empower Washington County citizens to participate in the political process and ensure the Washington County Republicans are heard at every level of government.

* Electing Republican candidates to office on the national, state, and local levels.
* Recruiting Republican candidates to run for office.
* Assisting the Tennessee Republican Party and the Republican National Committee.
* Recruiting membership in the Republican Party at all levels.
* Promoting public awareness of the Republican position on public issues and fostering good citizenship in general.
* Increasing the effectiveness of our members in the cause of good government through active political participation.
* Raising funds for Republican election campaigns and for promoting Republican ideals.
